How the story unfolded…
About Me
As a working mom, I learned to maximize my morning-person tendencies to start writing romance—turning my love for history into a passion for creation. Rather than dwelling on my daily to-do list, I spent my predawn hours fantasizing about sweeping ballgowns, sweet heroes, and sensual seductions. With characters and plots dancing in my head, I scribbled stories in a spiral-bound notebook—expecting I would lose my way, get bored, or become distracted. Then something magical happened, I reached the end of my first manuscript!
The Journey
And that was when the hard work began. Three years later, I’ve completed my MFA in Writing Popular Fiction from Seton Hill University and am the acting secretary of the Great Lakes Fiction Writers (GLFW). I’ve had two short stories “Pocket Parchment” and “Autumn Magic,” published in Love on the Lakefront anthology. I am querying my debut novel Chastity and the Baron while working on the second book in my interlinked Virtue Sisters series. When I’m not writing, you can find me in the garden or traveling the U.S. with my partner, our two kids, and our mini Aussiedoodle rescue puppy in our class B RV.
